Tim ConnellThomasville City Manager Alan Carson has named Tim Connell Interim Fire Chief for Thomasville Fire Rescue. The appointment is effective January 1st. Current Fire Rescue Chief Chris Bowman will retire on December 31st after serving the Thomasville community for more than six years.

“Tim has been an integral part of TFR’s leadership for the past several years,” said Carson. “He cares deeply for not only this department, but also this community. I’m confident that he is the best person to lead TFR forward as we begin our search to replace Chief Bowman.”
