Construction is underway today on Wright Street between Hopkins Street and Bryant Street. A detour will be in place taking travelers from Wright Street to Fern Street, through Lester Street onto Hopkins Street and back on to Wright Street. This work is anticipated to take most of the day to complete.
Construction will also take place this week on Fern Street between Magnolia Street and South Street. This work is anticipated to take all day on Wednesday, January 16. There will be no detours in place, but the area will be closed to thru traffic.
All of the construction taking place this week is to complete manhole work as part of the sewer line rehabilitation as included in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Project to improve water and wastewater infrastructure in the Fletcherville community.
