The City of Thomasville’s next First Friday is just around the corner! On April 4, come out and enjoy a delightful evening of sipping, shopping, and dining while listening to talented local street entertainers scattered throughout Downtown Thomasville.
Beginning at 5 PM, guests can explore Downtown’s unique shops, enjoy extended store hours, and dine at local restaurants. Adults 21 and older can purchase beer or wine from participating businesses while strolling through downtown.
“Many of our Downtown businesses stay open late for First Friday, making it a perfect time to shop, dine, and experience the vibrant community atmosphere,” said Brandy Avery, Community Engagement Manager for the City of Thomasville. “Supporting local businesses during events like this helps strengthen the economic vitality of our downtown district.”
While there will be no live band at The Ritz Amphitheater during the First Friday event, guests are invited to enjoy a unique festive atmosphere with pockets of live on-street performances by talented local musicians placed throughout downtown. For those seeking live entertainment at The Ritz Amphitheater, the highly anticipated Due South event will take place on Saturday night, April 5th benefitting the Thomasville Center for the Arts.
Stay tuned for the many live entertainment opportunities in downtown Thomasville this month! For more details about First Friday events, visit downtownthomasville.com or contact Brandy Avery at 229-227-4015.
