City of Thomasville Administrative Offices will be closed Friday, April 3, 2026, in observance of Good Friday.
Due to the upcoming observance, some City services will be affected. Schedules and additional hours are as follows:
Utilities Response Center
Regular 24-hour operational schedule. For assistance, call 229-227-5499.
City Residential and Commercial Refuse
There will be no change to pick-up schedules for City of Thomasville Friday residential and commercial refuse customers. Customers are encouraged to place containers curbside by 7:00 a.m. to avoid a lapse in service.
County Residential and Commercial Refuse
There will be no change to pick-up schedules for Thomas County Friday residential and commercial refuse customers. Customers are encouraged to place containers curbside by 7:00 a.m. to avoid a lapse in service.
Landfill
The Landfill will be open for normal hours of operation from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm on Friday, April 3.
Country Oaks Golf Course
Country Oaks will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3. Tee-times are recommended. Schedule tee times online at CountryOaksGolfCourse.org or by calling 229-225-4333.
Municipal Airport
The Municipal Airport will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3.
