The City of Thomasville administrative offices will be closed Monday, May 27, 2019 in observance of Memorial Day. Because of the holiday observance, some City services will be affected. City schedules are as follows:
Energy Control Center
Regular 24-hour operational schedule
Residential Refuse
Monday residential customers will be collected on Tuesday, May 28. Tuesday residential customers will be collected Wednesday, May 29. Regular schedule will resume on Thursday, May 30.
Thomas County customers
Monday residential customers will be collected on Tuesday, May 28.
Yard Trash
No yard trash pick-up Monday, May 27. As yard trash pick-ups have no specific day assigned to any one residence or street, this will not affect the pick-up of any resident’s yard trash.
Commercial Refuse
Commercial customers with a Monday collection will have no change in their service schedule.
Country Oaks Golf Course
Country Oaks will be open during the Memorial Day holiday from 7:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tee times are recommended and holiday rates will apply.
Municipal Airport
The Municipal Airport will be open for normal hours of operation, from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 27.
Landfill
The Landfill will operate under normal hours on Monday, May 27.
