THOMASVILLE, GA- February 20, 2019- Crews will be working to obtain pavement samples along South Pinetree Boulevard between Old Monticello Road and Magnolia Street on Wednesday, February 20th through Saturday, February 23rd.
“Segments of the roadway will be reduced to one lane of traffic,” said Todd Powell, Assistant City Engineer, “While flagmen will be in place to help coordinate traffic flow, we encourage travelers in the area to be aware of possible traffic delays.”
The pavement samplings are being done in preparation for future resurfacing of the roadway. Weather permitting, the work is expected to take place between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
“We apologize for the inconvenience and thank the community for their patience as this project continues,” Powell said, “We will work to restore regular traffic flow as quickly as possible.”
