ROAD AND LANE CLOSURES SCHEDULED FOR SOUTH PINETREE BOULEVARD

Posted on

Contractors will begin work along South Pinetree Boulevard beginning Monday, January 4th. Crews will replace two culverts at the intersection of Longleaf Drive and South Pinetree Boulevard. The work is scheduled between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm and is expected to last two to four weeks.

There will be a temporary road closure at the intersection along South Pinetree Boulevard while the work is being completed. Travelers are encouraged to exercise caution while in the area, select an alternate route, or use the Gordon Street detour.

The construction will also require temporary lane closures along the South Pinetree Boulevard corridor between West Jackson Street and Old Monticello Road for both drainage improvements and roadway resurfacing over the next six months. Travelers should prepare for some delays and slow their speeds around the work zones.

For more information about this project, please call the City of Thomasville’s Engineering Department at 229-227-7009.
