City of Thomasville Utility crews will be working along Dowdell Street on Tuesday, August 27th. Crews will be replacing a storm drain on Dowdell Street between Fletcher Street and Jones Street. The work is scheduled to occur between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm on Tuesday, August 27th.
There will be a temporary road closure near the intersection of Dowdell Street and Fletcher Street while work is being completed. The remainder of Dowdell Street and Bibb Lane will remain open to local traffic. Travelers and residents in the area are encouraged to exercise caution and to be aware of potential traffic delays.
