A portion of Hansell Street will be temporarily closed for pavement repairs beginning next week. The area of West Hansell Street between Gordon Avenue and South Street will be closed to thru traffic beginning Monday morning, August 13, 2018. Work is expected to be completed and the roadway reopened by Wednesday afternoon, August 15th. During construction, traffic will be detoured around West Hansell Street via Victoria Place.
“We understand road closures can be an inconvenience to the travelling public, but the repairs are necessary to maintain the integrity of the roadway,” said Wayne Newsome, City Engineers. “Contractors will work as quickly as possible to complete the repairs and reopen this portion of Hansell Street.”
