Beginning on Monday, March 25, City of Thomasville Utilities will have South College Street from East Jackson Street to Fletcher Street closed for installation of a water main across South College Street. Utility crews will begin working in this area at 4:00 p.m., with work continuing into the evening hours.
Travelers in the area are advised to exercise caution in the area and prepare for detours around South College Street where the work is being completed. This project is anticipated to be completed by 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26th, when the roadway will be reopened.
