City of Thomasville Water Department crews are scheduled to begin installing a water main on Gordon Avenue between Neel Place and Little Street. This work is scheduled to begin on April 22, 2026, at approximately 8:00 AM and is expected to last three days.
There will be a temporary road closure on Gordon Avenue between Neel Place and Little Street while the work is being completed. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays. The road will be open to local traffic.
