The City of Thomasville contractors are scheduled to begin replacing a stormdrain pipe and water main on Vine Street between North Dawson Street and North Short Broad Street. The work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at approximately 8:00 AM and is expected to last three weeks.
There will be a temporary road closure to thru traffic on Vine Street between North Dawson Street and North Short Broad Street while the work is being completed. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to be prepared for potential travel delays. The road will be open to local traffic.
