City of Thomasville crews will begin work at the intersection of West Loomis Street and South Street beginning Monday, August 26th. The work being completed will include the installation of an additional sanitary wastewater main to improve flow through the system. The work is anticipated to begin at 8:30 am with completion at approximately 4:00 pm.
There will be road closures on both West Loomis Street and South Street while the work is being completed. Travelers in the area are encouraged to exercise caution, utilize the Magnolia Street detour, and to prepare for potential traffic delays.
