City of Thomasville Utilities has announced open enrollment for the Budget Billing Program. This program gives utilities customers an additional payment option, which can be helpful during summertime when excessive temperatures may cause increased monthly utility usage. The City of Thomasville honored local winners of the Georgia Municipal Association’s “If I Were Mayor, I Would…” essay contest for sixth graders. One winner was selected from each school system as the winner for their schools. Thomasville Mayor Max Beverly will host a ceremony March 21st at 11:00 a.m., which will dedicate the newly constructed fence around the historic Flipper Cemetery.
