The City of Thomasville Administrative Offices will be closed Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Due to the holiday observance, some City services will be affected. Schedules and additional hours are listed below:
Utilities Response Center
Regular 24-hour operational schedule. They can be reached by calling 229-227-5499.
City of Thomasville Residential Refuse
Thursday City of Thomasville residential customers will receive service on Wednesday, November 22. Customers are encouraged to place containers curbside by 7:00 a.m. to avoid a lapse in service.
Thomas County Residential Refuse
Thursday Thomas County residential customers will receive service on Friday, November 24. Customers are encouraged to place containers curbside by 7:00 a.m. to avoid a lapse in service.
Commercial Refuse
Thursday commercial customers will receive service on Wednesday, November 22.
Landfill
The Landfill will be closed Thursday, November 23. Hours of operation on Friday, November 24 will be 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Country Oaks Golf Course
Country Oaks will be closed Thursday, November 23. The course will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 24. Tee times are recommended. Schedule tee times online at CountryOaksGolfCourse.org or by calling 229-225-4333.
Municipal Airport
The Municipal Airport will be closed Thursday, November 23. The airport will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 24.
