On Monday, July 11, 2016, the City will continue the project to improve the portion of Broad Street between Remington Avenue and Smith Avenue. The Georgia Department of Community Affairs has awarded $612,000 in grant-funding to Thomasville in order to build new, single family homes and help homeowners rehabilitate existing homes.
