CITY CELEBRATES MILESTONE SERVICE AWARDS

During Monday’s Thomasville City Council Meeting, 74 City of Thomasville employees were honored for their years of service to the community. The service awards honored employees who have achieved milestones of five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service.

"We congratulate our employees on reaching these milestones and want to thank them for the service they have invested in our community and its citizens," said Kha McDonald, Interim City Manager/Utilities Superintendent. "We’re honored to have many long-time employees working for the City of Thomasville, and we’re proud to be able to recognize them for their achievement."

Employees honored for their years of service included the following:

Five Years: Erica Beckwith - Customer Relations, Tarissa Brooks - Customer Care, Donald Carter – CNS, Ashley Cason - Financial Services, Tiffany Davis - Main Street, Will Glenn - Information Technology, Lewis Glenn - Solid Waste, Jacob Gunn - Electric Department, Blake Hart - Energy Control Center, Nick Henley - Golf Course, Ashley Ivey - Customer Accounts, Freddie Johnson – Wastewater, Michelle Juarez - Financial Services, Joseph Knifer - Information Technology, Jeffrey Miller - Police Department, Chris Mullins - Police Department, Maurice Parramore, III - Technical Services, Kasey Sharpe - Customer Accounts, Daniel Stanteiski – Wastewater, Corey Thompson - Fire Rescue, and Teresa Weeks - Financial Services.
