The City of Thomasville Administrative offices will be closed Wednesday, January 1, 2025 in observance of New Year’s Day. Due to this upcoming holiday, some City services will be affected. Schedules are as follows:
Utilities Response Center
Regular 24-hour operational schedule. They can be reached by calling 229-227-5499.
Residential and Commercial Solid Waste Services
Routes serviced on Wednesday, January 1 will receive service on Tuesday, December 31. Customers are encouraged to place containers curbside by 7:00 am to avoid a lapse in service.
Landfill
The Landfill will be closed on Wednesday, January 1.
Country Oaks Golf Course
Country Oaks will have normal operating hours. Tee times are highly recommended and can be scheduled online at CountryOaksGolfCourse.org or by calling 229-225-4333.
Municipal Airport
The Municipal Airport will be open from 7 am to 7 pm.
