Every community has its heroes and Thomasville is no different. Recently, on National Super Hero Day, Thomasville Police Department paid homage to one of the community’s biggest champions, Chief of Police Troy Rich. Everfan’s in-house heroes presented Chief Rich with a custom cape, befitting of his contributions to Thomasville’s stellar department of law enforcement professionals, and the “WOW FACTOR” he encourages each of them to aspire for.
Troy was given a surprise ceremony at Southern Regional Technical College, where he was recognized by the Mayor, City Manager and staff members. Chief Rich was also honored with a proclamation that designated April 28th, 2016 as Chief Troy Rich Day in Thomasville.
