Construction crews will be installing a sidewalk along the east side of Dawson Street, starting at the intersection of Dawson Street and South Broad Street and extending north to the existing driveway of Paradise Park. The work is scheduled to begin today, Wednesday, January 29, 2025, and is expected to be completed by January 30, 2025.
During this time, the northbound lane of Dawson Street between South Broad Street and the existing driveway of Paradise Park (before the railroad tracks) will be closed. Construction signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to choose an alternate route or prepare for potential traffic delays.
