The City of Thomasville Water Department is responding to a water main break on Glenwood Drive and repairing the water main today and tomorrow. The work will be completed as soon as possible.
There will be an emergency temporary road closure on Glenwood Drive between Washington Street and Clay Street while the work is being completed. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays. The road will be open to local traffic. Work is expected to be completed by approximately 1 pm on Thursday, February 22.
