As renovation work continues on 233 West Jackson St, the future home to the “Gateway to The Ritz”, the City of Thomasville’s contractor and Public Works staff will work on Stevens Street between West Jackson Street and Fletcher Street beginning Friday, August 9, 2024. The work is expected to start at 8:00 am and last six (6) hours.
There will be a temporary road closure on Stevens Street between West Jackson Street and Fletcher Street. Barricades will be in place to protect travelers and the work site. No through traffic will be authorized, but access to this area is authorized via Remington Avenue. Travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to be prepared for some travel delays. Please be patient with them while they work to improve Downtown Thomasville.
