The City of Thomasville Administrative offices will be closed Tuesday, December 24 and Wednesday, December 25 in observance of Christmas. Due to these upcoming holidays, some City services will be affected. Schedules are as follows:
Utilities Response Center
Regular 24-hour operational schedule. They can be reached by calling 229-227-5499.
Residential for City of Thomasville, Thomas County, and Commercial Refuse
The City of Thomasville Solid Waste Department will be operating as normal on Tuesday, December 24 and will be closed on Wednesday, December 25. Wednesday’s route will be serviced on Tuesday and schedules will continue as normal Thursday, December 26. Customers are encouraged to place containers at curbside by 7:00 a.m. to avoid a lapse in service.
Landfill
The Landfill will be open on Tuesday, December 24 and will close on Wednesday, December 25. Normal operations will resume Thursday, December 26 at 7:00 a.m.
Country Oaks Golf Course
Country Oaks will be closed on Wednesday, December 25 and observe normal operating hours throughout the rest of the holiday season. Tee times are recommended and can be scheduled online at CountryOaksGolfCourse.org or by calling 229-225-4333.
Municipal Airport
The Municipal Airport will close at noon Tuesday, December 24 and will be closed on Wednesday 25. Normal operation hours will resume Thursday, December 26.
