CITY BUDGET TO BE PRESENTED TO COUNCIL

The City of Thomasville will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 2, 2019, at 5:30 p.m. to receive public comments on the City’s proposed budget for 2020. The budget is scheduled to be presented to City Council on Monday, December 9th. The proposed budget is $123,768,133 and, for the eighth straight year, includes no funding from property taxes. CITY OF THOMASVILLE ENCOURAGES RESPONSIBLE RECYCLING PRACTICES

In an effort to provide the best recycling service possible, the City of Thomasville has announced changes to the City’s recycling program. LANE CLOSURES SCHEDULED FOR STEVENS AND WALCOTT INTERSECTION

City of Thomasville crews will begin work along the intersection of Stevens Street and Walcott Street on Tuesday, November 19th.
