On September 11, 2001, over 3,000 people lost their lives during terrorist attacks involving aircrafts aimed at the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington D.C., and a thwarted attempt that crashed in Stonycreek Township, Pennsylvania. ROAD CLOSURE SCHEDULED FOR WEST JACKSON STREET

City of Thomasville Utility crews will begin work along West Jackson Street beginning Saturday, August 31st at 5:00 am. Crews will be working on the mid-block crossings in the 200 block of West Jackson Street between Stevens Street and Madison Street.
