Providing multiple avenues of communication and education helps foster transparency, which is a vital element for citizen partnerships in creating and maintaining a progressive and unified community.

The City of Thomasville will host a “Coffee & Conversations” event focusing on city projects, finances, and operations on Friday, April 5 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Thomas County Public Library, located at 201 N. Madison Street.

“Public participation is a high priority for our city staff, Mayor and Council,” said Tara Pearson, Public Information Officer. “We understand the need for transparency. Listening to the community’s comments and concerns and answering their questions will help the City continue to effectively operate our municipality while serving the citizens of Thomasville.”

The “Coffee & Conversations” event serves as an opportunity to drop-in and ask questions. Interim City Manager Chris White, Assistant City Manager Sheryl Sealy, and other city staff will be on hand to answer questions and engage in open discussions. This event is free and open to the public.
