Work crews for the Courtyard Marriott will be unloading furniture trucks on South Dawson Street between Smith Avenue and Remington Avenue beginning on Wednesday, February 3rd. Due to the heavy rainfall , work along South Pinetree Boulevard has been postponed until Monday, February 1, 2021. The City of Thomasville has announced operational changes to the Thomasville-Thomas County Municipal Solid Waste Landfill. Effective January 1, 2021, the landfill, located at 88 County Landfill Road, will operate from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
