Grab your basket and join the City of Thomasville’s Community Relations team for the annual Easter Eggstravaganza to be held on Saturday, April 13th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Paradise Park.
“Our local children look forward to the Easter Eggstravaganza each year,” said Thomasville Assistant Police Chief Eric Hampton. “It’s a great opportunity for our City Community Relations team to interact with our local children by playing games and having fun.”
This year’s activities will include a rock-climbing wall, pony rides, inflatable games, bounce houses, face painting and much more. Participants will also have the opportunity to have their photo taken with the Easter Bunny. The kids’ favorite, however, is the annual Easter egg hunt.
“We will have over 4,000 Easter eggs for kids to hunt this year,” said Hampton. “The egg hunt will be divided into separate areas for various age groups so there will be plenty of fun for all the kids in attendance. Plus, eight lucky kids will win prizes by finding special eggs.”
All the activities are free, and the community is invited to come have a fun day at Paradise Park. There will also be affordable food vending on site, with all proceeds benefiting the Thomasville Police Department’s various youth programs. Food tickets will be available for purchase at the park on the day of the event.
“This is a great, family-oriented community event,” Hampton said. “Paradise Park will be filled with fun for all ages!”
