City contracting crews will be connecting water services on Metcalf Avenue. The work is scheduled to begin on November 14, 2024, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. There will be a road closure on Metcalf Avenue between Mississippi Avenue and Texas Avenue while the water connections are being made. The Thomasville Police Department is pleased to announce it has received a $26,000 High Visibility Enforcement (HVE) grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS).
