The City of Thomasville has completed its FY 2017 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The following activities were completed: Construction of street and drainage, water and sewer improvements were completed on Bartow Street, South Street, Jones Street, Bibb Street, Patten Street, South College Street, Fern Street. The project benefited 448 persons, of whom 434 (97%) are low income.
The City of Thomasville will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on March 10, 2020 @ 6:00 pm, at Thomasville Community Resource Center, 501 Varnedoe St, Thomasville, GA 31799 for the purpose of discussing the completed activities and receiving citizen comments. All citizens are invited to attend this Hearing.
A copy of the Final Quarterly Report will be available at the Thomasville Engineering Department, 411 West Jackson Street, Thomasville, GA 31799 for review. Any person desiring to comment on the performance of the project may write to the City at P.O. Box 1540, Thomasville, Georgia 31799.
