The City of Thomasville administrative offices will be closed Friday, January 1, 2021, in observance of New Year’s Day.
Due to the holiday observance, some City services will be affected. City services’ schedules are as follows:
Utilities Response Center
Regular 24-hour operational schedule. They can be reached by calling 229-227-5499.
City of Thomasville Residential Refuse
Friday residential customers will be collected on Saturday, January 2, 2021. Customers are reminded to place trash receptacle at curbside by 7:00 a.m. on their scheduled day of service.
Thomas County Residential Refuse
Friday residential customers will be collected on Saturday, January 2, 2021. Customers are reminded to place trash receptacle at curbside by 7:00 a.m. on their scheduled day of service.
Commercial Refuse
Friday commercial customers will be collected on Thursday, December 31. Customers are reminded to place trash receptacle at curbside by 7:00 a.m. on their scheduled day of service.
Landfill
The Landfill will be closed Friday, January 1. Normal hours of operation will resume Saturday, January 2, 2021.
Country Oaks Golf Course
Country Oaks will be open for normal hours, 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., on Friday, January 1. Tee times are required. Schedule tee times online at CountryOaksGolfCourse.org or by calling 229-225-4333. Holiday rates will apply.
Municipal Airport
The Municipal Airport will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 1.
