UPDATE – Due to weather delays, this work is now scheduled to continue through Friday, September 18th.
City of Thomasville Utility crews and contractors will begin work along South Dawson Street beginning Tuesday, September 8th. Crews will be installing a wastewater manhole, wastewater service, and potholing utilities on South Dawson Street between Smith Avenue and Remington Avenue. The work is scheduled to occur between the hours of 8:00 am and 7:00 pm. and is expected to continue through Friday, September 11th.

There will be a temporary road closure on South Dawson Street while the work is being completed. Travelers in the area are encouraged to exercise caution when approaching the intersections of Smith Avenue and South Dawson Street and Remington Avenue and South Dawson Street and to be aware of potential traffic delays.
