City of Thomasville contractors are scheduled to begin Full Depth Reclamation (road reconstruction) along Robin Drive, Hickory Drive, Wildwood Drive, Belmont Drive, and Big Star Drive. The first phase of work is scheduled to begin on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at approximately 8:00 AM and is anticipated to continue for three weeks. Phase two, which includes street resurfacing, will begin once the road reconstruction phase is complete.
During construction, portions of the project area may experience temporary lane closures. Construction signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays. The road will be open to local traffic only.
