As part of the Remington Avenue Streetscape Project, City of Thomasville contractors are scheduled to continue sidewalk construction along Remington Avenue between Betty Street and East Pinetree Boulevard. The work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at approximately 8:00 AM and is expected to last four days.
There will be a temporary lane closure along the Remington Avenue eastbound lane between Betty Street and East Pinetree Boulevard while the work is being completed. Construction signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or prepare for potential traffic delays.
