Utility improvements are being made by the City of Thomasville’s contractor on Old Albany Road between North Boulevard and Plantation Oaks Drive over the next seven to eight (7-8) months.
Beginning on November 13 and lasting through November 20, there will be temporary lane closures for the contractor to safely complete their work. Lane closures will occur on Old Albany Road between Holland Street and the Oquina Creek (near Villa North Apartments) and then also between Holland Street and Plantation Oaks Drive.
Again, this work is expected to last one (1) week. Flaggers will be at the site to direct traffic while the work is being completed. Travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to be prepared for some travel delays. Please be patient with the contractors while they work to improve the city’s infrastructure.
