Contractors will begin milling areas with distressed asphalt and resurfacing South Pinetree Boulevard between West Jackson Street and Old Monticello Road on Wednesday, January 12th. The work is scheduled to take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and is expected to last two weeks.
There will be lane closures throughout the corridor in order to provide a safe zone for road work and to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Travelers in this area are encouraged to use caution while flaggers direct traffic in the area, prepare for potential traffic delays, or select an alternate route.
In addition to lane closures, the traffic signal detection devices at the intersection of South Pinetree Boulevard and Old Monticello Road will not be operational until after the asphalt overlay has been completed. Thank you for your patience while contractors work to improve this important corridor.
