City of Thomasville construction contractors will be working on wastewater main improvements on Forrest Street between N. Martin L. King Jr. Dr. and Bay Street and on N. Martin L. King Jr. Dr. between Alexander Street and Felix Street. Work will begin at 8 am on June 12, 2023 and last for one (1) day.
There will be a temporary road closure on N. Martin L. King Jr. Dr. between Alexander Street and Felix Street and a temporary road closure on Forrest Street between N. Martin L. King Jr. Dr. and Bay Street while the wastewater improvement work is being completed. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays. The road will be open to local traffic.
