The City of Thomasville’s Wastewater Department will begin making sewer improvements on North Hansell Street beginning Monday, July 14, 2025.
To facilitate a safe work environment, North Hansell Street between East Clay Street and East Monroe Street will be temporarily closed to thru traffic. Only local traffic is authorized. The work is expected to last four (4) weeks. Detour signs will be posted to direct traffic around the work zone. Travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or be prepared for some travel delays.
