City of Thomasville contractors are scheduled to begin stormwater improvements at the intersection of North Dawson Street and East Calhoun Street. This work is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 28, 2026, at approximately 8:00 AM and is expected to last 30 days.
There will be temporary road closures on North Dawson Street between East Webster Street and East Clay Street and on East Calhoun Street between North Crawford Street and Young Street while the work is being completed. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays. The roads will be open to local traffic only.
