City of Thomasville Water Department staff will begin work along East Jackson Street between Hansell Street and Dawson Street beginning Tuesday, April 12.
Crews will repair a water service line at 332 East Jackson Street between Dawson and Hansell streets. The work is expected to begin at 6:30 pm and is expected to last five hours.
There will be a temporary road closure on East Jackson Street between Hansell Street and Dawson Street while the work is being completed. A detour map can be viewed here. Detour signs will be posted, and travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to prepare for potential traffic delays. The road will be open to local traffic.
