Working in law enforcement is more than just another day in the office – it’s the opportunity to make a difference and serve your community. The Thomasville Police Department is currently hiring police officers and has increased recruitment efforts, using radio, televion, and a new recruitment video to attract candidates new to the workforce or seeking a career change.
“We have a great team of dedicated men and women committed to public safety for our community,” said Thomasville Chief of Police John Letteney. “Our goal is to continue to find candidates that have a heart to serve and want to be a part of a forward thinking organization where they can make a difference. Law enforcement is hard work, but it’s rewarding work.”
The Thomasville Police Department recently created a recruitment video highlighting the daily positive impact officers make in the community, focusing on career satisfaction, opportunities to excel and grow, and the excitement of being called to a higher honor. The video can be viewed on their social media channels and on the City of Thomasville’s YouTube page, @cityofthomasvillega.
