Starting next week, Thomasville Fire Rescue will conduct their annual fire hydrant testing within the Thomasville city limits. Contractors are scheduled to begin work April 25th on Magnolia Street from Augusta Avenue to Azalea Street. CSX Transportation has notified the City of Thomasville of an emergency repair due to an identified rail defect on the railroad crossing on Fletcher Street near South Stevens Street.
