The City of Thomasville’s Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) is now available online to help residents understand how their tax dollars are managed and spent.
The easy-to-read guide highlights important financial information and issues affecting the City’s financial health and contains condensed and simplified information from the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, which is compiled at the end of each fiscal year. The most recent PAFR reflects the fiscal year ending December 31, 2022.
The City of Thomasville received an award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting for fiscal year ending December 31, 2021 from the Government Finance Officers Association. This award is the highest form of recognition for excellence in state and local government financial reporting and is given to government organizations that go beyond the minimum requirements to produce comprehensive financial reports that are clear and transparent.
The PAFR is created by the City of Thomasville Financial Services Department and can be viewed online by visiting thomasville.org/finance.
