Thomasville Fire Rescue recently announced the completion of renovations to Station Two, located at 1750 South Pinetree Boulevard. The City of Thomasville has been notified that the grant application that was submitted to the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) will not be funded this year. Beginning on October 1st, the City of Thomasville will be accepting applications for the Budget Billing Program. The Budget Billing Program gives utilities customers an additional way to help manage their utilities budgets, with payment options that can be helpful when excessive temperatures may cause increased monthly utility usage. Thomasville Fire Rescue is set to reopen fire station two after it was closed for renovations earlier this summer. TFR firefighters, Thomas County Fire Rescue firefighters and Thomas County EMS staff began staffing station two from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm on September 26th.
