Community Education Program Requests

Please contact the Fire Marshal if you are interested in presentations including fire extinguisher demonstrations and fire safety prevention, evacuation plans, or fire drills. The Fire Marshal also handles scheduling of Sparky and the fire clowns, station tours for your group, burn permits, and distribution of free smoke detectors.

The Fire Marshal's Office can also help you with fire incident reports, inspections, and arson investigations (to remain anonymous, call the Arson Hotline: 800-282-5804).

Fee Schedule

Construction Plan Review Fees:

• Bulk Storage Construction $150.00 Per Plan
• Building Construction – 10,000 Square Feet or Less: $150.00 Per Plan
• Building Construction – More than 10,000 Square Feet: $0.10 Per Square Foot

Inspection Fees:

Building Construction:

• Annual Inspection No Charge
• Second Follow-Up $150.00 Per Visit
• Third Follow-Up $300.00 Per Visit
• Fourth and Each Subsequent Follow-Up $600.00 Per Visit

Hood Suppression Systems:

• Pop-Off Test, Fresh Air Cut-Off, Fuel Shutdown $150.00 Per Visit
• Second and Each Subsequent Follow-Up $300.00 Per Visit
• Fourth and Each Subsequent Follow-Up $600.00 Per Visit

Light Test:

• Light Test, First and Second Protective Wrap $150.00 Per Visit
• Second Follow-Up $150.00 Per Visit
• Third and Each Subsequent Follow-Up $300.00 Per Visit

Other Construction Fees:

• Fire Sprinkler Plans $150.00 Per Plan
• Fire Alarm Plans $150.00 Per Plan

• All Life Safety Ammendments $100.00 Per Ammendment
• First Non Life Safety Ammendment Free

• Second and Each Subsequent Follow-Up $100.00 Per Submittal
