OPEN HOUSE FOR CHIP GRANT HOME SET

Last summer, the City of Thomasville Planning Department began accepting applications for grants to help local citizens make the dream of home ownership a reality. CITY RECEIVES $750,000 GRANT FOR INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT

The City of Thomasville was officially recognized at the fall conference of the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) as one of 59 Georgia communities to receive a 2017 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). VARNEDOE BASKETBALL COURTS RECEIVE FACELIFT

If you’ve been out to Varnedoe Park recently, you might have noticed the basketball courts have a whole new look. This popular park area has received some upgrades that the youth of Thomasville are sure to appreciate. The City of Thomasville has announced various road closures due to construction projects: Tuxedo Drive: The City of Thomasville’s Public Works Department has closed Tuxedo Drive to thru traffic at the culvert crossing located approximately 250’ east of Parkway Drive.
