VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS FOOD VENDOR APPLICATION 2025

General Information

Victorian Christmas will be held outdoors in Downtown Thomasville on Thursday and Friday, December 11th & 12th from 6:00-9:00 PM both nights.

Victorian costumes are REQUIRED for all vendors (see costume guidelines section).

Participation in both nights of the event is mandatory; requests for one night participation will not be granted. Fees cover both nights.

All stations must be cleaned up and completely removed each night; nothing may be left out overnight. Local non-profits will be given priority over other applicants.

You may be contacted about your menu and what menu items best fit the needs of the event. o In addition to your application form, please submit (2) photos minimum of your booth.

There are a very limited number of food vendor spaces available. Final decisions will be made based on the needs of the event.

Failure to comply with the event coordinators or the event rules and regulations will result in expulsion from the event.

Booth Information

Exact booth location will be determined by event coordinators and is based on the needs of the event. No switching.

All spaces are 20’ wide x 20’ deep and are on the street; no sidewalk set-ups are permitted.

Booth fees will be collected upon acceptance; please DO NOT send booth fees with your application. Once accepted, fees are not refundable for any reason. Booths are $150.

You will be provided two 120V electrical outlets at each booth space. o Set up begins at 4:30 PM each night; vendors are not permitted to set up their booths before 4:30 PM.

Vendor vehicles must be removed from the event area by 5:30 PM. Vendor vehicles will be permitted back into the event area at 9:00 PM for clean-up.

Vendors must supply their own tables, chairs, and signage. Easels must be out of the right of way of pedestrians.

All tables must be draped to the ground- plastic, cloth, and paper tablecloths are all permitted as long as they are floor length.

Booths spaces must be cleaned up and removed at the end of each night. Proper disposal of grease is mandatory (do not pour grease or cooking liquid of any kind on the street).

Generators of any kind are not permitted.

Tents, trailers, and food trucks are not permitted.

A fire extinguisher must be present if you are cooking with gas, grills, or fryers.

Provisions for hand sanitizing for booth staff are required.

Costume Guidelines

Victorian era costumes are required for ALL booth staff.

Costumes do not have to be elaborate, but they must be worn.

For example, you may choose to wear something as simple as dark pants, a white button down shirt, and suspenders, or you may choose to wear a long skirt with a button down shirt. You are encouraged to pull from clothing that you already own.

For those that wish to rent costumes, the Victorian costume closet is available at the Thomasville Visitors Center (144 East Jackson Street) November 17th - December 6th (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm; Saturdays 10am-4pm; closed on Sundays and holidays). Costumes are available to rent on a first-come-first-served basis.
