TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - SOUTH PINETREE BOULEVARD BETWEEN CAMELLIA DRIVE AND WEST CLUB DRIVE

The City of Thomasville’s Electric Department and contractor will trim trees and perform electric pole maintenance on South Pinetree Boulevard between Camellia Drive and West Club Drive on February 17-18 from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day. City of Thomasville utility crews will begin work on Remington Avenue at the intersection of Stewart Street and Remington Avenue beginning Monday, February 17, 2025. CITY OF THOMASVILLE AWARDED $19.8 MILLION COMMUNITY CHANGE GRANT FROM THE U.S. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY

During regular session on Monday, February 10, 2025, the Thomasville City Council voted to accept a grant for over $19.8 million from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The grant, which is in partnership with the Thomasville Community Development Corporation (TCDC), was one of 105 applications nationwide for the Community Change Grants Program.
