THOMASVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO HOST ANNUAL INSPECTION

Posted on

The Thomasville Police Department is organizing a department police inspection on Thursday, May 16. The official inspection will start at 6 pm and take place in front of the City of Thomasville’s Municipal Building, located within the 100 block of S. Crawford Street. Between 5 and 6 pm, there will be a chance for the public to meet and greet with our officers before the inspection begins.

According to Thomasville Police Chief Wade Glover, the inspection is a great opportunity for the public to meet and interact with the department’s officers. “This event will help us enhance our relationship with the community we serve and allow people to learn more about the Thomasville Police Department.”

The event is being held during National Police Week, which is a time to honor and remember those who gave their lives in the line of duty. During this period, law enforcement, survivors, and citizens come together to pay their respects. A presentation to honor Georgia’s fallen officers will take place inside the Municipal Building Auditorium immediately after the inspection and also recognize officers and civilian staff who have gone above and beyond in their duties to serve the community, highlighting their valor, dedication, and relentless pursuit of excellence.

This police inspection is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Thomasville Police Department at (229) 227-3249.
