100th Rose Show and Festival Continues with Rain Plan in Place

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE SCHEDULED FOR MAGNOLIA STREET

Contractors are scheduled to begin work along Magnolia Street beginning Tuesday, April 27th. There will be a temporary road closure on Magnolia Street at the South Pinetree Boulevard intersection while crews install stormwater drainage piping. CITY AWARDED SEED GRANT FOR STORMWATER MANAGEMENT

The City of Thomasville was recently awarded a Regional Water Plan Seed Grant of $75,000 from the Environmental Protection Division (EPD) of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources to support the City’s Regional Water Plan implementation. As an agency the EPD is charged with protecting Georgia’s air, land, and water resources through the authority of state and federal environmental statutes. During regular session on Monday, April 12th, City Council approved on second reading an ordinance to amend the Code of the City of Thomasville regarding sign regulations.
